Gigante Salmon has built a land-based fish farming facility on Lille Rosøy in Rødøy municipality. To ensure a stable power supply, Arva has established a new 22 kV power supply from Reppen, which is also a hub for the regional grid. As part of the project, a TSRA 3x240 mm² subsea power cable was laid from Reppen in Tjongsfjorden to Lille Rosøy, with a total length of 22,425 meters. Additionally, 1,155 meters of subsea power cable has been installed between Lille Rosøy and Rødøya. Seaworks Kabel AS and their partners were responsible for conducting the maritime work, including seabed surveying, landfall preparation, transportation, installation, and securing of the subsea power cables. The project has been executed according to the plans for progress and costs, with good cooperation between all parties. The submarine cable was produced by Prysmian Group and sourced from the factory in Nordenham, Germany.
