Space Norway AS has awarded Seaworks Kabel AS the contract to install a subsea fibre-optic cable between Bodø and Fauske. The cable, which is being produced locally in Rognan, will be collected there and installed along the Bodø–Fauske route by Seaworks Kabel AS. The objective is to complete the installation by the end of 2026 or in the first quarter of 2027.
