Seaworks Kabel offers cable surveys, precise installations, quick repairs, and recovery services. We use ROVs and specialized vessels to ensure reliability and protect marine ecosystems. We also recycle out-of-service cables, providing environmentally conscious solutions.

Survey

Seaworks Kabel conducts cable surveys for damages, water ingress, voltage issues, and aging. Partnered with Seløy Undervannsservice, we use ROVs to inspect cables and map seabeds up to 500 meters deep.

Installation

Subsea cables are the lifelines of modern society and a very important part of the cable network. Through these cables, both electricity and data communication seamlessly flow between deep fjords, different countries, and continents.

Seaworks Kabel AS lay both subsea power cables and subsea telecommunications cables.

Cable recovery and repair

Seaworks Kabel continuously monitors subsea cables and has vessels ready to quickly repair any damage. Our specialized vessels can repair cables on board, and we stock standby materials for fast response. We also recover and recycle out-of-service cables, including oil-filled ones.
